Patient Information

Welcome to our Office

We at Dr. Reigh's office sincerely thank the thousands of patients, friends, and referring offices who have and continue to support our practice.

We welcome new patients and congratulate you on taking the first step towards better periodontal and dental health. We work closely as a team with your referring dentist, but a referral by a dentist is not required for a visit to our office. We welcome referrals from patients and friends of the practice.

QUALITY OF CARE

We are committed to exceeding the mandatory continuation education standards in our profession. Treatment is performed using progressive methods and materials which improve the results of treatment. Surgical materials, bone grafts, connective tissue grafts, membranes to guide cellular growth, and dental implants have the highest quality and safety standards. We strive to prevent discomfort during and after treatments with specific aftercare instructions and appropriate medications. Nutritional counseling is also very important to your care and well being.

STERILIZATION

We are trained in sterilization procedures and their appropriate use. "Universal Precautions" are used to prevent transmission of any infectious viruses or disease. Some of these precautions are visible to you during dental visits, like the use of gloves, masks and protective eye wear. Disposable supplies, surface disinfectants and plastic covers ensure hygienic treatment. All instruments including hand pieces are heat sterilized. Surgical treatment is performed using filtered sterile water for the hand pieces or sterile saline irrigation. Other precautions such as sterilization and disinfection are performed before and after each patient visit. We use the most advanced equipment available in our sterilization process and the equipment is monitored for efficacy on regular intervals. Our techniques meet, and some exceed, those recommended by the Centers for Disease Control, The American Dental Association, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. We are happy to show patients our techniques and answer any questions you may have regarding infection control.
